I just completed cards for three swaps on the Stampers Swap Shop Facebook group I belong to. I am pleased with how they turned out. What do you think?
One of the swaps was for Christmas cards.
I used the new Stampin’ Up! deep texture Cable Knit Textured Impressions folder. It is amazing! There are some tricks to using it, like using only one plate in your Big Shot and spritzing the paper with water first, but the results are worth the extra care. Love this! It is just difficult to do it justice in a photograph.
STAMPS: The Ton- Holiday Confetti
PAPERS: MFT Whip Cream & Dill Pickle; PTI Vellum cardstock; My Mind’s Eye – Comfort & Joy
OTHER: Hero Arts Brass embossing powder; SU! foil snowflakes, Kat Scrappiness Deck the Halls sequins
The second swap I participated in was for Halloween cards. Not that this is a huge card-sending holiday, but it sure is fun creating something a little different. For this card, I counted mainly in die cuts silhouetted under an ink-blended background using Distress Oxide inks. It gave me a chance to practice using my newly arrived inks.
STAMPS: My Favorite Things – Fab-BOO-lous Friends

The third card was made for a children’s birthday group. That called for fun and bright colors in my opinion. This is my interpretation.
