One Project at a Time

Happy Birthday Balloons

I made these cards a little while ago and forgot to post them. I love how this combination of Concord & 9th stamps and dies played well together.

I started with the sprinkles turnabout stamp. I am in total love with all the Concord & 9th Turnabout stamps. I enjoy making my own background papers and these stamps make it so easy. Of course, the existence of the MISTI helps tremendously too.  I used four ink colors on the stamp – razzleberry, orange zest, pineapple, and summer splash – all from My Favorite Things. All I needed to do was rotate the stamp a quarter turn each time and perfectly placed sprinkles!

For this card, I then stamped several colors of cardstock with the Happy Balloons stamp set and cut them with the coordinating dies. The sentiment and banner die are also included in the bundle. The card itself is 5.25″ square so I could load it up with balloons!

For the second card, also using the sprinkles background I created, I cut two tags with the Sprinkles Tag Dies, made to coordinate with the turnabout stamp. The tag die set also included the sprinkles die I used on the top tag, as well as a cupcake and heart.  This makes it very versatile to be used throughout the year.

I added a doily and a silver web ribbon (Websters Pages).

The sentiment is included with the Sprinkles Turnabout stamp.

Two simple cards using stamps and dies that just seem to go together, and yet are perfect on their own too. Thanks for popping in and I hope to see  you again real soon.
