Greetings! Today I am sharing a card I made for the Paper Craft Crew #268. This week it’s a fun sketch.
Now I am not normally a circle user, but I really enjoyed this and I will be sure to use them again.
My interpretation of this sketch uses the October 2017 Hero Arts My Monthly Hero kit. I used the stamps and papers from the kit.
This card came out so sparkly. In case you haven’t figured that out yet, I love sparkly!
I created the scene in the snow globe using multiple stamps from the set and masking when needed. Then it was colored with Copic markers, using an extra-fine Sharpie for the white snow. I also placed Nuvo Fresh Snowfall glitter drops on the roof and the ground for more sparkle.
The sentiment, also from the kit, was stamped in VersaMark on MFT After Midnight cardstock and heat embossed in silver.
The snow globe was cut with Impression Obsession’s Snow Globe die. The base was cut from ARC wood paper.
For a final shot of sparkle, the kit’s silver sparkle paper was cut using Simon Says Stamp’s Jingle Snowflakes. The negative snowflakes were used to decorate the sentiment strip and card front.
Why don’t you play along with us this week? I would love to see what you come up with.
