Howdy! I am always drawn to stamps that are unusual, and you just can’t argue that a blue-footed boobie bird is not unusual. I love his expression and I had to Google boobies to learn more about them. What fascinating creatures they are!
This little fellow was sent to my daughter who is probably the most unique and fun individual I know.
I wanted to try some no-line coloring, so I stamped the Blue-Footed Boobie from Impression Obsessions in MFT Grout Gray hybrid ink onto XPress-It Blending Card. Then I used my Copics for coloring. The challenge was to give him a rounded belly,
The cute sentiment was included in the set also. I stamped it with MFT Blue Yonder ink.
The panel was cut with an MFT Blueprint 31 die and mounted onto a card base of MFT Blue Yonder cardstock.
To finish the inside, I used another sentiment from the set.
I usually don’t write on the cards I send my daughter, but insert a separate note so she can pass it on. I love that idea of sharing the goodness, but she tells me she has kept every card I have sent her.
